Welcome to the official website of the 16th India–Japan Science & Technology Seminar, a landmark event jointly organized by the Indian JSPS Alumni Association (IJAA) in collaboration with IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat to be held on October 2–3, 2026 at IIT Gandhinagar.

This year’s seminar carries special significance as it also commemorates the 20th Anniversary of IJAA, celebrating two decades of fostering academic exchange, innovation, and collaboration between India and Japan. The event is proudly sponsored by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), Japan, and organized with the support of the India Japan Society for Science, Technology and Education (IJSSTE), Japan.

Bringing together leading scientists, researchers, and academicians from Japan and India, the seminar will serve as a vibrant platform for sharing cutting-edge research, exchanging ideas, and strengthening bilateral scientific cooperation. The program will feature distinguished keynote addresses, plenary sessions, and invited talks delivered by eminent experts across diverse fields of science and technology.

In addition to oral presentations, the seminar will provide opportunities for researchers and young scholars to showcase their work through poster presentations, encouraging active participation and dialogue within the scientific community.
